中文摘要 為了因應國際推動溫室氣體淨零排放趨勢,自然碳匯也成為台灣2050淨零轉型十二關鍵戰略之一。台灣森林地面積約200萬公頃,占本島土地近60%,目前可抵減約全國排放量的7.6%,藉由造林及相關經營工作降低大氣二氧化碳濃度,以提升森林碳吸收之功能。因此本計畫將AIoT技術導入森林碳匯監測,將過去蒐集之台灣樹種歷史數據做為訓練資料以建立深度學習模型,精準監測森林碳匯的增長狀況,進而降低調查所需的人力與時間,監測數據可提出森林改善方案,讓森林達到最佳的碳吸存能力。
英文摘要 In order to respond to the international trend of promoting zero emissions of greenhouse gases, carbon sequestration has become one of the twelve key strategies for Taiwan′s 2050 net-zero emissions. With an estimated forest area of 2 million hectares, covering nearly 60% of the island′s land, forests in Taiwan can offset about 7.6% of the country′s emissions. In this context, the use of AIoT technology for forest carbon sequestration monitoring is proposed. Historical data on tree species of Taiwan will be used as training data to establish deep learning models for monitoring the growth of forest carbon sequestration. This will increase the accuracy of monitoring and reduce the need for human and time in investigation. The data obtained from the monitoring can be used to formulate forest improvement plans aimed at maximizing the carbon sequestration capacity of forests.
